UAV DESIGN OPTIMIZATION

To improve the quality of the prototypes that have been made, namely the achievements of the HALE UAV aircraft from the configuration drag, the weight of the HALE UAV and the electrical system response, the HALE UAV optimization process will be carried out in the first year. The optimization process is carried out by determining the UAV HALE achievement target and then comparing it with the achievement before the optimization. The price difference is used as feedback iteratively to produce a configuration that meets the achievement target. The optimization method that will be used is Genetic Algorithm with available analysis tools such as Computational Fluid Dynamics Software Fluent which will be used to understand the complex behavior of the flight operating conditions of the unmanned aerial vehicle.
